Jason Jones, MD

Dr. Jones was born in Violet, LA. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University and graduated medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA.

He relocated to Winston-Salem to pursue his internal medicine residency training at Wake Forest Baptist Health where he was selected as a Chief Resident, elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and completed a Gastroenterology fellowship.

Dr. Jones then completed an advanced interventional endoscopy fellowship at Yale School of Medicine, where he received additional training in various advanced endoscopic procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), ERCP, enteral stent placement and complex polypectomy with endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR).

He is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Along with his general gastroenterology practice, Dr. Jones has particular interest in gastrointestinal cancers and diseases involving the pancreatic and biliary systems.
