David Barry, MD

As a North Carolina native, Dr. Barry attended Duke University for his undergraduate degree. His medical degree was then obtained from Wake Forest University School of Medicine before completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University. Subsequently, he returned to Winston-Salem to complete his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Wake Forest University.

He is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Along with his general gastroenterology practice, Dr. Barry is a participating provider in GAP’s Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Clinic and is a committee member of the Physician Strategy Council for the Novant Health Triad Region.
