Brent Cengia, MD

An Ohio native, Dr. Cengia received his undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati and attended medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University. He came to North Carolina to complete his internal medicine residency, chief residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Wake Forest.

He is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Along with his general gastroenterology practice, Dr. Cengia has a special interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and liver disease.
